I love "hero" stories and stories with happy endings that pertain to real life and real people. I don't ride but used to years ago. This video was amazing to watch what this horse and rider could accomplish together. It was equally satisfying to know how many of your dreams have come true (another happy ending). I have gone back and read many of your other articles and have enjoyed each one. You not only have a love of riding horses, which is evident in your articles, but also a very real gift for sharing your knowledge and insight with the rest of us - riders or not. And I sure agree with you. I would much rather take care of my animals than buy stuff for myself.I was in the horse business for the majority of my life and loved every day of it. It was really hard work but very rewarding. I especially liked the teaching part.
